breakfast-stuffed-pepper

Miriam and Dan left this morning to visit San Francisco. They abandoned a fridge full of things nearly rotten. I have to eat as many of them as quickly as possible. It’s a food race!

On the plus side, their food is fancier than my food has been for a while.

This is a breakfast-stuffed-pepper on a bed of fried tortillas. It’s stuffed with scrambled eggs, peppers, onions, cheese and mushrooms (and butter and heavy cream, of course).

it is spring

This is Jamey bruschetta. It’s very good. It is Ezekiel bread topped with avocado, yellow pepper, Sriracha and amazingness.

This is the grill because it’s grill time now.

This is August with his burger from the first burger-off. We’re going to pit different burger construction methods against one another. Mine had jalapeños, his had egg yolks and sharper cheese.

Unfortunately by the time we got to the burgers we’d each eaten a pound of pork and a third of a pineapple and were exhausted.

Mine was definitely a better methodology.
